Wildflower Knits took the kits and buttons on the road! We made it to our very first Stitches event, Stitches Midwest! Renee and I got there Wednesday evening early enough to get set up and made some plans for the booth arrangement. Since this was our first time exhibiting, there was a lot of uncertainty until we actually got there and could see what we had to work with.
We think we did pretty good!
We had lots of kits for the fall Vests Rock! collection along with a few from Tuscan Knits, too. It was all loads of fun, but very exhausting! Renee took classes and came back totally pumped and inspired with all kinds of beading ideas. She took Betsy Hershberg’s classes and highly recommends them to anyone interested in adding beads to your knits.
We took lots of buttons, too. When I closed my brick and mortar shop last year, I kept all my buttons. Here, you can see them a bit better.
I don’t know about Renee, but I even managed to make a few purchases at the market. One vendor was selling out her button collection and I took the opportunity to re-stock mine!
And I absolutely LOVE my Eurosteam iron!
After just a few days home from the trip, I decided to do the Stitches East show, too! Look for Wildflower Knits in Hartford, CT October 9-12!
