The French Knits Spring 2016 collection was inspired by you guessed it, a trip to France! Provence, specifically. The collection includes 6 designs in Tahki yarns.
An openwork knit in Tahki yarns “Tandem“. Body is worked sided to side with dropped yarn overs. Sleeves are knit from bottom up. Pattern is available on ravelry and craftsy. You can read a little more about it here.
Avignon is another high-low pullover, knit in Tahki yarns “Aruba“, a cotton and linen blend. The curved back hem is created with short rows. The front curves naturally with slip stitches. Pattern is available on ravelry and craftsy.
Lyon is knit in “Rosa” from Tahki yarns. It is a close fitting cardigan in reverse stockinette stitch. Hem shaping is worked with casting on stitches, much easier than it looks! Pattern is available on ravelry and craftsy.
Toulouse is knit in garter stitch with two Tahki yarns, “Aruba” and “Monet“. Body is knit side to side; sleeves are knit bottom up and attached. A great pattern for beginners! Pattern is available on ravelry and craftsy.
Two garments in one with the Azur twinset in “Ripple” from Tahki yarns. The tank is easy enough for a beginner: knit all in one piece from the bottom up with minimal shaping. The cardigan is rated intermediate only because neckline and armholes are shaped at the same time. Pattern is available on ravelry and craftsy.
Alsace is knit in the ever popular “Cotton Classic” from Tahki yarns. Flattering vertical slip stitch columns create texture and line in the body which is worked in one piece. Sleeves are knit bottom up and attached. Pattern is available on ravelry and craftsy.
