Charity Projects at Wildflower

We work on a number of charity projects at Wildflower throughout the year. We will provide you with pattern suggestions (see links below for some of our recent ones).
Our ongoing projects are chemo caps. Caps are distributed directly to patients receiving the chemo by the administering nurse (also a knitter!). Suggestions are always welcome, but she has recommended we stick to patterns that will result in a hat with approximately 18" circumference.
We have also done Knitting for the Troops projects and Mother Bear.
In addition, we work with the Manhattan Library Association in knitting and crocheting items for their Mitten Tree every year at holiday time. They accept hats, scarves, gloves and of course, mittens.
Finished items can be dropped off at Wildflower for both charities.
